Jason Crowder, 57, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, went away on Friday, February 19, 2016, at 4:20 in the morning.On July 10, 1958, in the town of Monticello, he was born to Fay Marie (Capper) Crowder, whose husband Jackson Young Crowder had passed away, and Jackson Young Crowder. Jason spent his childhood on the banks of the Tippecanoe River, which is located close to Buffalo. There, he and his buddies would go fishing and on other exciting adventures. He had completed his high schooling at the North White High School in Monon. As a talented machinist, Jason decided to pursue a career in the CNC industry.
In 2016, he took his retirement from his position as a Surgical Instrument Machinist at Avalign (Cutting Instruments Division).Even though Jason had a reputation for being a diligent worker, he never neglected the time he spent with his family.Canoeing, camping, and even cave exploring were all activities that Jason looked forward to participating in while on their trips.
He spent many of his vacations going to watch his children participate in various athletic and dancing competitions.Because Jason also had a passion for dancing, he was convinced that his children had inherited their ability from him.He attended services at the Faith Covenant Church in Monticello, where he was a member.
Surviving are his mother, Fay Marie “Mimi” Crowder, Monticello; children, Skye (Sam) Rosebrock, Greenwood, Kayce (Matt) Weaver, Monticello, Jacob Crowder, Kansas City, Mo., and Asa (Hannah) Crowder, LeMoore, Calif.; grandchildren, Reagan, and Thomas Rosebrock, Olivia, and Jason Crowder, and Owen Weaver; siblings, Renee (Kevin) Kilbane, Fort Wayne, Jaci (Randy) Lane, Ocala, Fla., and Brad Crowder, Monticello.
His biological father, Jackson Young Crowder, as well as his sister, Lisa Crowder, and stepfather, Willis “Cotton” Hinshaw, all passed away before Jason.In the latter part of this summer, a Memorial Celebration of Life Service will be held at some point.Donations in memory of a loved one may be made to the Fish and Wildlife Fund of the DNR.
